Abstract
A vehicle-mounted air purifier 1 includes a main unit incorporating an ion generator. The main unit is removably arranged within a passenger space inside a vehicle. For example, if a beverage container holder 90 is provided inside the vehicle, the main unit can be removably arranged within the passenger space when given a cylindrical shape that permits it to be held in the beverage container 90. The power from which the vehicle-mounted air purifier 1 operates can be taken from a cigarette lighter power outlet 91 provided inside the vehicle through a connection cable 92. The main unit is thus arranged directly within the passenger space, and the ions generated by the ion generator inside are fed into the passenger space with higher efficiency. The main unit is removably arranged as an independent unit. Thus, even when the ion generator breaks down or otherwise its replacement becomes necessary, the arranged ion generator can be removed readily and replaced easily.
Abstract
A cyclone air purifier reduces pressure loss and noise generated from second cyclones and has an improved dust collecting efficiency. The cyclone air purifier includes a cylindrical main body, at least one first cyclone having at least one inlet formed through a side surface the main body to receive air therethrough and to perform a first dust separation operation on the air introduced therein having a first outlet pipe to discharge a first part of the air, and at least one second cyclone to receive a second part of the air from the first cyclone and to perform a second dust separation operation on the second part of the received air. An ionizer is installed in the first cyclone to ionize the dust in the air, and an inductor is installed in a guide duct, which connects the first and the second cyclones, to induce small particles of the ionized dust in the first cyclone into the second cyclone using an electrically attractive force.

The invention provides an air purifier having sterilizing function, comprising a vertically standing main frame, a front cover provided with air outlets, a blower assembly installed inside the main frame, and a control panel provided on the main frame, wherein the main frame has air inlets, an inlet grille is provided at a position corresponding to the air inlets, and an outlet grille is provided at a position corresponding to the air outlets of the front cover, and wherein a sterilizing device is provided under the blower assembly. |
