Abstract
A wheel balance weight includes a weight and an installation member. The weight is composed of at least one member selected from the group consisting of zinc and a zinc-based alloy, is formed as a substantially strip shape having a substantially uniform thickness, and has opposite surfaces and at least a groove. The groove is formed in at least one of the opposite surfaces of the weight, and crosses in the width-wise direction of the weight. The installation member is adapted for installing the weight to a rim in a wheel. Since the weight is composed of zinc or a zinc-based alloy, environments are inhibited from being polluted when the wheel balance weight is abolished. Moreover, it is possible to manufacture the wheel balance weight at reduced costs and install it to wheels with ease.
Abstract
A binary balance seal assembly for use in a balanced pressure valve having a valve housing and a valve plug movable within the housing between an open position and a closed position. The seal assembly comprises an annular primary seal which is adapted to be retained within the valve housing. The primary seal is deformable into sealed engagement with the outer surface of the valve plug when pressure is applied to the primary seal as occurs upon the movement of the valve plug from its closed position toward its open position. In addition to the primary seal, the seal assembly includes an annular secondary seal which is adapted to be retained within the valve plug itself. The secondary seal is movable into sealed engagement with a portion of the valve housing when the valve plug is moved to its closed position so as to prevent upstream pressure from causing fluid to leak downstream of the valve plug.
Abstract
The present invention relates to a hand held ultrasound system having a balance body, a transducer assembly connected to said balance body via a communication means and a plurality of control elements arranged in an ergonomic fashion on said balance body, such that a user may hold said system and operate at least one of said control elements with the same hand. In particular a medical ultrasound system comprising a balance body incorporating system electronics, a power supply and a user interface wherein the user interface comprises a D-controller and a touch screen and a transducer assembly attached to the balanced body by a cable. |
