Abstract
A vehicle carpet system has a continuous carpet base molded to the shape of the vehicle floor in which it is to be installed. The carpet base includes at least one layer of a molded noise-attenuating material, at least one molded recess formed therein. A removable acoustic carpet module fitted into the at least one recess and held in place by a releasable retainer.
Abstract
A carpet has piles 2 provided on an upper surface of a base fabric 3 and a backing layer 4 formed on a lower surface of the base fabric 3. An allergen reducing agent 10 is made to adhere to at least a part of an area X ranging from the upper surface of the base fabric 3 to a foot portion of the pile. With this structure, allergens, such as, e.g., mites, dead mites, or pollen, especially entered in the carpet, can be efficiently inactivated and the amount of allergens in the carpet can be reduced.

To provide carpet tiles that can be installed more easily and quickly the inventive carpet tiles (1) comprise: a support plate (2); a carpet material (3) on said support plate 2; a first mechanical locking element (4) extending along a first joint edge (8a) of said carpet tile (1); and a second complementary mechanical locking element (5) extending along a second joint edge (8b) of said carpet tile (1). |
