Abstract
The invention concerns a manual dental instrument equipped with an illuminating device (30, 34) for illuminating a site on a tooth to be examined or treated using a spotlight cone (18). Said manual instrument comprises devices (30, 36) for mixing a coloured light with the spotlight cone (18) to display supplementary data intended for the user of the manual instrument (10). Moreover, a dental care device provided in the manual instrument comprises luminous devices (30, 36) for mixing a coloured light, said luminous devices (30, 36) being controlled by a control unit and an analyzing unit processing the data of the sensor in co-operation with the control unit, such that the user of the manual instrument (10), through the mixture of coloured light with the spotlight cone (9) receives by display data concerning the property of the surface of the tooth to be treated. The invention also concerns a method for displaying at least one property of the tooth to be treated intended for the user of said manual dental instrument. Said method is characterized in that the display devices controlled by the sensor-actuated control devices display to the user the property of the surface of the tooth to be treated, a coloured light being mixed with the spotlight cone (18) of the illuminating device (30, 34) and the luminous devices (30, 36) used as display devices.
Abstract
The present invention m provides a portable dental care stand. The portable dental care stand includes: a cover part having a handle formed at an upper portion; a machine part connected with the cover part by using a separable hinge, and the machine part having: an upper plate covering an upper portion of a rectangular housing, which is opened at the upper portion and a lower portion, a rectangular machine chamber having an opened upper portion and disposed at a predetermined removed portion of the upper plate, an operation panel having a predetermined slanting surface and installed at the opened upper portion of the machine chamber, the operation panel having a plurality of operation buttons at the slanting surface, and a mount installed using a sliding member at a lower end of the maching chamber; a rectangular box part having an opened upper portion and connected with the machine part by using a spreadable or foldable leg part; and hooks installed at a front and rear of the machine part and the box part to couple the machine part with the box part.

In particular, the invention pertains to antimicrobial dental care materials containing biocidal complexes, e.g.: a) a mouthwash containing said complex; b) a dentifrice containing said complex; c) a dental floss coated and/or impregnated with said complex; and d) a protective coating for teeth containing said complex, e) toothbrush bristles coated and/or impregnated with said complex; f) an orthodontic appliance coated and/or impregnated with said complex; g) an orthodontic appliance adhesive containing said complex; h) a denture appliance coated and/or impregnated with said complex; I) a denture appliance adhesive containing said complex; j) an endodontic composition coated and/or impregnated with said complex; k) a composite-type dental restorative composition containing said complex; l) a dental cement containing said complex; m) a dental liner containing said complex; n) a dental bonding agent containing said complex; The complex will have a maximum water solubility of about 5 wt. % and is further characterized as being a complex that is formed by a metathesis reaction between a biocidal cationic monomer or polymer with a biocidal anionic monomer or polymer or by an acid-base reaction between a biocidal monomeric or polymeric free base and a biocidal monomeric or polymeric acid capable of protonating the free base. |
