Description

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a heat sink structure for air mattress, and more particularly to an air mattress that is able to reclaim the air exhausted from airbags for dropping in temperature.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art

[0004] A heat sink structure for air mattress about prior arts is airbags formed with a lot of apertures which drain out the inside air, and then the air takes some heat and damp away to make the air mattress more dry and comfortable. Usually, these apertures of the airbags are produced with laser processing, and these apertures cannot be too big otherwise the airbags cannot be pumped up. On the other hand, if the apertures are too small, it is insufficient to cool down and to exsiccate while the airbags cannot exhaust the inside air well.

[0005] As FIG. 1 shows, a heat sink structure for air mattress about prior arts has a control unit (1'), a control unit (1a') and an air mattress (2'). The control unit (1') has an air pump (11') for pumping first airbags (21') and second airbags (22'), and the control unit (1a') has an air pump (11a') for pumping a heat sink layer (23') of the air mattress (2'). The heat sink layer (23') is a hollow structure made of breathed material or has a plurality of exhaust holes (23a') so that air inside the heat sink layer (23') is drained out while the heat sink layer (23') is under a state of positive pressure. Thus, the exhausting air takes some heat and damp away. However, because of the two air pumps, the air pump (11') and the air pump (1a'), in one heat sink structure for air mattress about prior arts, it increases cost and wastes power sources.

[0006] Because of the drawbacks of the prior arts, the present invention provides a heat sink structure for air mattress to overcome the prior arts.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a heat sink structure for air mattress to drain out the inside air, and then the air takes some heat and damp away to make the air mattress more dry and comfortable.

[0008] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a heat sink structure for air mattress that reclaim the air exhausted from airbags for dropping in temperature, and the air takes some heat and damp away to make the air mattress more dry and comfortable.

[0009] A heat sink structure for air mattress mainly has a control unit having an air pump which is a powered device for supply of compressed air, and a controlling valve which is a fluid connector for selecting some of components to connect; and an air mattress having many groups of airbags arranged designedly while each airbag is a cannular structure which is expanded with pumping up and shrunken with draining off, and a heat sink layer which is a hollow structure; wherein the heat sink layer which is breathed and is connected to the controlling valve through an exhaust conduit; and each of the airbag groups is connected to the controlling valve through one conduit respectively and the controlling valve operated by the control unit selects any one group of the airbags to be connected for fluid flow and alternates the first conduit and the second conduit to connect with the air pump.

[0010] Other and further features, advantages and benefits of the invention will become apparent in the following description taken in conjunction with the following drawings. It is to be understood that the foregoing general description and following detailed description are exemplary and explanatory but are not to be restrictive of the invention. The accompanying drawings are incorporated in and constitute a part of this application and, together with the description, serve to explain the principles of the invention in general terms. Like numerals refer to like parts throughout the disclosure.

[0011] FIG. 1 is a plane view of a conventional air mattress;

[0012] FIG. 2 is a plane view of a first embodiment according to a heat sink structure for air mattress of the present invention;

[0013] FIG. 3 is a plane view of FIG. 2 under another state;

[0014] FIG. 4 is a plane view of a second embodiment according to a heat sink structure for air mattress of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFFERED EMBODIMENT

[0015] With reference to FIG. 2, the heat sink structure for air mattress in accordance with the present invention is mainly composed of a control unit (1) and an air mattress (2). The said control unit (1) has an air pump (11) and a controlling valve (12). The air pump (11) is a powered device for supply of compressed air, and the controlling valve (12) is a fluid connector for selecting some of components to connect. The air mattress (2) has a plurality of first airbags (21), a plurality of second airbags (22), and a heat sink layer (23), and there are numbers of the first airbags (21) and second airbags (22) arranged designedly while each airbag is a cannular structure which is expanded with pumping up and shrunken with draining off; and the heat sink layer (23) is a hollow structure made of breathed material, and some kinds of this material is porous material. As described above, the first airbags (21), the second airbags (22), and the heat sink layer (23) are connected to the controlling valve (12) with a first conduit (24), a second conduit (25), and an exhaust conduit (26) respectively, and the controlling valve (12) selects any two of the first airbags (21), the second airbags (22), and the heat sink layer (23) to be connected for fluid flow.

[0016] As described above, the heat sink layer (23) is laid over the first airbags (21) and the second airbags (22), and the controlling valve (12) operated by the control unit (1) alternates the first conduit (24) and the second conduit (25) to connect with the air pump (11), wherein the first conduit (24) connects with the exhaust conduit (26) while the second conduit (25) connects with the air pump (11).

[0017] With reference to FIG. 3 which is a plane view of FIG. 2 under another state and according to the heat sink structure for air mattress of the present invention, the first airbags (21) connected with the first conduit (24) and the second airbags (22) connected with the second conduit (25) are expanded and shrunken alternately. When any of the first airbags (21) and the second airbags (22) is shrunken, the air therein is drained out and flows into the corresponding conduit (24) or (25). Finally, the air flows into the heat sink layer (23) through the exhaust conduit (26) connected with the conduit (24) or (25), and the air is drained out from the breathed material part of the heat sink layer(23). Moreover, the exhausting air takes some heat and damp away, and makes the air mattress (2) more dry and comfortable.

[0018] The said heat sink layer (23) is made of breathed material and has a plurality of exhaust holes (23a) to exhaust the air therein. Therefore, when the first airbags (21) and the second airbags (22) are expanded and shrunken alternately, the air therein is drained out and flows into the heat sink layer (23) through the corresponding conduit (24) or (25) and the exhaust conduit (26). The air is drained out from the exhaust holes (23a) of the heat sink layer (23), and the exhausting air takes some heat and damp away to make the air mattress (2) more dry and comfortable.

[0019] With reference to FIG. 4 which is a plane view of a second embodiment according to the present invention, the heat sink structure for air mattress, the heat sink layer (23) is a hollow structure and held the first airbags (21) and the second airbags (22). The first airbags (21), the second airbags (22), and the heat sink layer (23) are connected to the controlling valve (12) with a first conduit (24), a second conduit (25), and an exhaust conduit (26) respectively, and the controlling valve (12) selects any two of the first airbags (21), the second airbags (22), and the heat sink layer (23) to be connected for fluid flow.

[0020] Thus, when the first airbags (21) and the second airbags (22) are expanded and shrunken alternately, the air therein is drained out and flows into the heat sink layer (23) through the corresponding conduit (24) or (25) and the exhaust conduit (26). The air is drained out from the exhaust holes (23a) of the heat sink layer (23), and the exhausting air takes some heat and damp away to make the air mattress (2) more dry and comfortable.

[0021] Similarly, the heat sink layer (23) can be made of unbreathed material and has a plurality of exhaust holes (23a) to drain out the air in the heat sink layer (23).

[0022] Although this invention has been disclosed and illustrated with reference to particular embodiments, the principles involved are susceptible for use in numerous other embodiments that will be apparent to persons skilled in the art. This invention is, therefore, to be limited only as indicated by the scope of the appended claims.
